The most popular thing to do in Valbona is to simply enjoy the outdoors and the untouched nature. Camping, cycling, hiking, and horse rides are only a few activities to do while appreciating the views.

Valbona offers guided tours or maps of the marked trails in Valbona Valley as well as the route to Thethi. On the way to Thethi, the nearby village of Rragam also extends more options of guest houses and is about a 25 minute walk from Valbona Village.  This settlement marks the the beginning of the Valbona/Thethi hike. Owners of guest homes have recently been associated with a Guest House Association and are willing to offer lodging and traditional Northern Albanian food. Prices range per person but start around 10€ per night per person.

The view of the Dinaric Alps can be seen in every direction while staying in the Valbona Valley. By traveling to Valbona, you'll be one of the first to enjoy the untouched nature just waiting to be explored. This part of Albania has, only just recently, been accessible and is simply waiting to be discovered. There are many useful maps and guides in Valbona and Bajram Curri that were developed by the UNDP Tourism project and are available in various locations for travelers.
